We acknowledge that each member of our increasingly diverse community has their own needs, experiences, and opportunities. We center inclusion and listen to our community as we design policies, processes, and spaces.

We’re committed to promoting these values across the broader tech community. To give people from all backgrounds a chance to thrive in tech and support future leaders, we have several programs aimed at reducing barriers to access. We know it takes active effort to build an inclusive and equitable world where all voices are heard, and we’re committed to being part of the change.

We want every Turiumian to have an equal opportunity to learn and grow, and strive to ensure there are many pathways to success at Turium. Instead of traditional career ladders, we celebrate individuals’ strengths, skills, and interests, from your first interview to your long-term trajectory.

Our interview process is designed to understand how your unique background can further our mission. As a new hire or intern, you’ll begin your Turium journey with an onboarding program that introduces you to our company, products, and Turiumian from across the globe. Your onboarding cohort will become the first of many networks you’ll build during your time at Turium.

We trust new Turiumian with responsibility and autonomy from day one. As a new hire or intern, you’ll be matched with a mentor who will guide you in building the skills you need to navigate Turium In our collaborative culture, you’ll find peers to support you through the toughest challenges.

Our benefits aim to promote health and well-being across all areas of Turiumians’ lives. We work to continuously improve our offerings, and listen to our community as we design and update them.

Transparency

We hold accountability as a key component to diversity, equity, and inclusion at Palantir and support the effort to encourage transparency.

We support the effort to encourage transparency in pay data. We maintain an internal dashboard of demographic data so all Turiumians can see how we’re progressing. We publish an annual UK Gender Pay Gap Report stating any difference in mean and median hourly pay between men and women employed in the organization.

Take-What-You-Need Time Off Policy

We know the importance of taking time to recharge.

We close all of our offices for two weeks in December and offer a take-what-you-need policy to help Palantirians achieve the balance they need to succeed, whether that means taking a long weekend, observing a religious holiday, or navigating school breaks as a parent. We also offer flexible working arrangements (including working from home) and hours.

Family Support

We provide generous paid parental leave, where not covered by local law; a stipend for new parents; and family leave for taking care of loved ones.

We also offer fertility services and adoption assistance. All Turium parents can take advantage of flexible working arrangements, childcare assistance, and other benefits and programming to support healthy families.

Contributing Our Voices

Turiumian voices are critical to helping us innovate on our software and strengthen our community.

One avenue for employees to contribute their voices is through Affinity Groups: employee-led resource groups that celebrate unique perspectives and backgrounds and help guide our DEI initiatives.

Affinity Groups also act as a bridge between Turium and the world around us, working to help the external community understand our mission to make global institutions work better and for the benefit of all. To that end, candidates have the opportunity to connect with Affinity Group members to learn more about their experiences at Turium.

Palamigos represents the Latinx and Hispanic community at Turium.

PARENTS

Turium Parents exists to foster openness and appreciation of the multiple dimensions of parenthood at every stage of the journey.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting your journey, there's an inclusive community here happy to share their experiences, insights, and ideas. We aim to engage mindfully in open dialogues to ensure that each member is supported, valued, and empowered to strike a healthy balance inside and out of work.

Turium Parents hosts parent roundtables, Bring Our Kids Together Day, and speaker series (such as “Parenting in a Pandemic”)

TURUGENDERQUEER

TuruGenderQueer is a private group for people who do not identify as being cisgender.

​

Our mission is to create a space for gender non-conforming and transgender individuals to connect and support each another personally and professionally, share relevant resources and experiences, and educate the broader Turium community on issues regarding gender identity.

TURNOIR

TurNoir creates a safe, supportive, and inclusive community for employees that identify as Black or of African descent.

We build up and support each other, share experiences, and promote professional growth and development. We raise awareness about issues that impact our community, and strive to be allies to other underrepresented groups.

TURAPI

TurAPI supports the Asian Pacific Islander communities at Turium, reflecting the diverse heritage of West, Central, South, East, and Southeast Asian communities, as well as that of the Pacific Islands and Oceania and of the diaspora around the world.

We aim to provide a space for dialogue and mutual support for our API community members, to foster mentorship and professional development, to increase cultural awareness and belonging within the company, and to empower members to be leaders and advocates both in the company and in our communities.

TurAPI partners with other affinity groups at Turium as an ally, recognizing their unique strengths and challenges as well as commonalities.

WOMEN IN TECH

Women in Tech is composed of women and allies, regardless of technical background.

Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive community through professional development, internal networking, external outreach opportunities, and enabling conversations around intersectional gender issues.

TURI-QUEER

Turi-Queer represents the LGBTQ+ community at Turium.

Our mission is to support and grow our sense of community, foster an increasingly inclusive and comfortable internal workplace, and ensure the consideration of important issues to the LGBTQ+ community in Turium’s business decisions and technological developments.

TURIUM INTERFAITH NETWORK

Turium Interfaith Network (TIN) aims to create a culture of inclusion and understanding across all faiths, making space for exploration and fostering community in which Turiumians are strengthened by the dialogue and reflection between our faiths.

TIN seeks to have representation across many communities, including but not limited to Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Sikhism.

TURVETS

TurVets represents Turium's diverse military Veteran community.

The mission of TurVets is to support and grow our sense of belonging, and to provide an inclusive venue to share experiences and support each other as we continue to serve our community in a different capacity.

We learn from each other and help educate the broader Turium community about Vets, and engage and support external parties that address current Veteran issues.

Supporting Future Leaders

We recognize that increasing diversity within the tech industry takes consistent, impactful action to increase access and opportunities for members of underrepresented communities.

Turium Path

Turium Path is a summer internship program designed to give college sophomores and juniors a path into a career in technology.

Understanding that not everyone has access to technical opportunities before college, we provide opportunity and exposure through hands-on learning and mentorship alongside engineers and analysts. Path interns interact with clients, get professional development from fellow Turiumians, and help influence decisions that impact our business and our customers’ missions.

Global Scholarships

In an effort to reduce financial barriers to access, Turium offers scholarships to support students from underrepresented communities in STEM who are beginning careers in technology.

Scholarship recipients are invited to visit one of our offices for a full-day workshop focused on professional development and community building. All scholarship recipients are awarded grants of up to $10,000 to support their education. Turium is proud to have granted over $800,000 in global scholarship funds since the program began in 2010.

Partnerships

We partner with several forward-thinking organizations who share our values in amplifying talented people from underrepresented backgrounds as they pursue careers in tech.

For example, BreakLine supports and assists US military veterans, women, and people of color as they transition into careers within the tech sector. Rewriting the Code helps women from a diverse range of backgrounds become the next generation of engineers and tech leaders through community-building, mentorship opportunities, and by providing access to industry and educational resources.

Conferences

We support the development of our internal community and sponsor employees to attend conferences dedicated to connecting and promoting under-tapped voices.

We also support and encourage employees to submit speaker proposals to amplify their accomplishments and experience.
