Turium is an innovation-driven company, and diversity is at the root of innovation. On our platforms, a staggering number of different teams and people collaborate. We need to build our products and run our business in a way that reflects the diverse communities we serve. That means it’s essential for our workforce internally to reflect the diversity that exists on our platform, and for us to cultivate an environment where that diversity thrives and where people feel they belong and can contribute to our shared success.

Diversity is about differences. At Turium, we think about differences broadly, across a wide range of dimensions, such as nationality, language, education, gender and gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, generation, age, socioeconomic background, religious background, abilities and disabilities, as well as identity dimensions defined and constructed by some societies in ethnic, colour, cultural, or racial terms. There are also differences according to working and thinking styles, experiences, career paths, technical skills, geography, service line, sector and function.

Equity is about recognising that everyone has different starting points and different needs. Based on their backgrounds and identities, everyone faces different levels of structural and systemic advantages and disadvantages that impact access to resources, perception and evaluation, and sense of belonging in and out of the workplace. At Turium, we have a specific commitment to advancing social equity. This includes working to remove barriers that impede equal outcomes across different backgrounds and identities — and proactively, continually addressing environments that do not support an inclusive experience for everyone. Turium is committed to providing the tools, resources and environment that all Turium professionals need to be successful and build meaningful careers.

Inclusiveness is about leveraging our differences, where everyone experiences a sense of belonging and feels safe to surface many aspects of who they are and bring forward their perspectives and ideas.

Turium is committed to driving the strategy, policies and accountability to build and sustain a diverse global workforce, equitable processes and systems, and an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute their best in every encounter. This includes the executive leadership level. As such, we will strive to ensure that the broad range of differences across Turium globally are represented and respected at the most senior levels within the organisation, including in all appointments it makes.

Turium is a diverse group of people who care about technology, who care about the environment, who care about equity, who care about each other, coming together to make a collective impact. That is the heart of who we are. At Turium, we are aligning our efforts to reflect who we are as an organisation today by advancing four areas of impact: community, accountability, respect, and empathy.

To nurture a culture that reflects our most deeply held values:

  • All Turiumians participate in a structured, supportive training series to deepen understanding around issues of inequity, and to provide tools for hard conversations that are necessary for examining and interrupting inequity in the workplace and beyond.

​

  • To ensure equitable hiring practices, all hiring committee members receive training to address implicit bias, to craft interview questions that assess cultural competency and emotional intelligence, and to ensure diverse hiring committee composition.

​

  • Additionally, working groups within Turium cultivate an extensive library of learnings and resources on strengthening diverse partnerships, building an equitable and inclusive organisational culture, and more.

Women's Network

Turium’s Women’s Network strives to provide women with opportunities for connections, collaboration, mentorship and professional development. The Network supports the inclusion and development of all our women across the globe.

Multicultural Network

Turium’s  Multicultural Network strives to provide networking, educational and collaboration opportunities for all OHA employees of all cultures. We believe that bringing OHA employees of all different backgrounds together to set the firm’s agenda for our multicultural activities will advance a culture of inclusion and diversity.

Sustainability Network

Turium’s  Sustainability Network strives to inspire and educate employees on the value and importance of sustainability at our firm and in our world. We focus on improving Turium’s  Corporate Social Responsibility efforts from the ground up.

Veterans Network

Turium’s Veterans Network honours the contributions of veterans and their families by promoting a collaborative culture that values the strength and experience the military community brings to the firm. We seek to increase employee engagement through speaking events, volunteer and philanthropic opportunities as well as hiring initiatives.
